Building up fire,surrounded by smoke,the heat of the place is imaginable,this is smoking process !
After this the half dried prawns' meat will bring under the sun,this is real hard work !

From cleaning to arranging of fish

/ shrimp,then to smoking and drying,all these long process brings hard work with patience. These are famous products of Belawai,they called ' sesar' (Malay language) , ' kupas ' (Melanau language) , 'dried shrimp' is what we ordinary called. The salted dried fish is 'ikan masin' .

Price of kupas is rm60 per kilogram.

Lake Garden,5km from Sibu town,completed 2 months ago is a great fun and leisure place.
Mini golf field,duckling paddle boats,long boat ride,pressure gun shooting.....Tracking path is excellent for exercisers with great scenery and fresh air around.A food court with delicious recipes and drinks .

Lachau market place

Lachau is a small town some 1 hour plus journey from Kuching. The daily market place there selling various types of local jungle products ,dried food,salted fish,vegetable....to traditional costumes.
