my 4000km 13-day Sabah trip---Mabul island off Sempona

Mabul island,30 mins speedboat ride with twin 200hp outboat engine.This is a place of clean air,blue sky,clear green water-heaven on earth.Everyday there is lots of foreign visitors come to Mabul island for holidays .

The most popular activities on the island are diving and snorkelling besides the pretty scenery.For we photographers,we have to prepared sufficient memory-cards.The people living in the kampung is a very attractive topic to capture.

We stayed at Uncle Chang resort whereas the expenses is really reasonable.
The famous Sipadan island is nearly 40 mins drive with twin engine speedboat from Mabul island.According to information,Sipadan is now restricted to stay on island but scuba diving is still allowed and welcomed.

Punama Hotel in Limbang has always been my favourite whenever i visited Limbang ,nice and comfortable to stay.
The outwall of the hotel constructed and designed with very colourful verandas,is my never miss photo shoot subject.Shown here was the side wall facing the street which has smaller verandas,whereas,facing river side has larger verandas.They are all equally beautiful if one can tackle the right angle

Leh Tiong and Ah Ping were checking out the prices of the local rice which were of very high quality,of course they were more expensive than what we can get from supermarket.

It is always not only great fun in shooting the hawkers in the markets,it is also a big challenge too.To capture the food they are selling,the different types of products they display,the attitude of the buyers and the hawkers.
Limbang was our next place of stop.We visited the sunday market the following morning after we had our breakfast at Leh Tiong's cousin's Mr.Luk's coffeeshop.I have to thank him here for his generous treat for our breakfast.

Mdm Chang yi,Mr.Ling Leh Tiong,CPLing,were capturing the typical and interesting scenes alone the Brunei River.
Hereby,i take this oppotunity to THANKS mdm Chang Yi for her great hospitality to arrange the boat trip,not forgetting the delicious lunch too .

Brunei,the rich wealthy country has it's lovely traditional side ,kampong on the Brunei River.The friendly kampong people used to travel to main towns by speedboats which is very popular and can be known as taxis on water.There are a few hundred of these water taxis operating everyday.At the water kampong there is a police station hospital clinic,schools ,mosques...A sure very different feeling,living on water.
